We all know what it’s like to have a Bad Hair Day, right? Those days when your hair just won’t go right, despite how much you brush or comb it! You may have wondered what happens if you don’t brush your hair – what if you just left it to its own devices? Is it good or bad? What are the pros and cons? Let’s find out!

Is it bad to not brush your hair?

"Is

Your hair is your hair. There is no right or wrong, good or bad – it all depends on what makes you feel happy and comfortable with your look!

This being said, brushing your hair can have a lot of benefits for your hair:

 1. Brushing hair can remove the dead hairs – these are useless little things that will not improve your look- especially when they find themselves all over your clothes!

 2. Stimulating the scalp is another good reason to brush your hair. Brushing will wake up the follicles and encourage hair growth.

 3. Brushing hair can also distribute the natural oils, which is good for the health of the entire hair growth.

 4. A good brush can encourage blood flow to the scalp, which can in turn stimulate the scalp to produce new, healthy hairs.

 5. Dry hair especially can benefit from a good daily brushing, as the hair’s natural oils will be spread throughout the entire head.

 6. If you have thick or curly hair, you will need to go more carefully when brushing, and opt for a wide toothed comb rather than a bristled brush.

 7. Brushing twice a day is plenty enough; any more than this and you run the risk of causing damage or breaking the hairs.
